Does your tooth hurt?
Pain that throbs, does not answer to painkillers, or keeps you up at night usually comes from an inflamed nerve. It does not pass on its own and needs to be seen.

What you can do now
- Rinse with warm salt water, several times a day.
- You can take a usual painkiller at the dose on the leaflet. Do not put aspirin directly on the gum.
- Hold a cold compress to your cheek, not heat: heat can make an infection worse.
